MGA Happenings: Season Kickoff Recap & Upcoming Events
Welcome back to the 2025–2026 Vinoy MGA Season!
We started off the new season in style with a the MGA Kickoff Party on September 27th. While the weather had other plans and a passing storm forced us to cancel the golf portion of the event, spirits remained high as many members and families enjoyed the pool party festivities well into the afternoon.
Vinoy Cup Recap
On October 10–11, we hosted our annual Vinoy Cup, with 80 players competing in our signature Ryder Cup–style event. This year’s teams proudly played in memory of John Roether and Joey Chambers. We were honored to welcome Stephanie Chambers and Lauren Roether, who attended to accept two beautiful commemorative paintings of Joey and John.
Congratulations to Team Roether, this year’s champions! Special recognition goes to Kevin Dyer and Tom Mahaffey for their Closest to the Pin wins — both earned Tampa Bay Lightning tickets and a night at the Tampa Marriott.

Mark your calendars for one of the most anticipated weekends of the year — our Member-Member Tournament followed by the 100th Anniversary Gala Celebration on Saturday evening. Registration details will be shared soon.
